We are an independent record store selling a range of new and second hand records and CD's. We cater for a range of audiences and we're always happy to help you find those sought after gems if not already stocked.

HOW WE STARTED
Wired Records (formerly West Town records), was started by record lover Mick Weston, and after a major refurbishment the shop opened at the end of April 2019.
Mick's passion for music started at around the age of 10 when he was hooked by the emotional effect music can have on you, which was realised when he got over excited to Slade's 'Gudbye T Jane', resulting in a broken table and subsequent first detention. His passion for collecting music really took hold when helping out at his uncle's shop in the mid 70's- though we won't mention the first record he ever bought! Years spent as a DJ opened his musical tastes up, finding passion for northern soul, Disco, Reggae and Ska, and further experience in various bands playing punk, heavy rock and alternative music has resulted in an appreciation and wealth of knowledge of many genres.

We are situated on Lincoln Road approximately 1.5 miles from Peterborough City Centre.
